I received my bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences and Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). After completing my bachelor's degree I continued to earn a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the TU/e.
For my master thesis, I worked on a microfluidic platform to isolate, stimulate and analyze cells on a single-cell level. In addition I developed an automated image analysis script to segment cells and analyze time-lapse images from this platform.

After a variety of side jobs I decided to start my own webdesign company in collaboration with a friend of mine, which is also probably the reason you are able to visit this website.
Since then I've decided to change my focus and I'm currently working as a Junior Bioinformatics Scientist at BioLizard. I first joined BioLizard as an intern for my Masters degree and I was fortunate enough to be able to join the team.
Although the amount of free time has decreased quite a bit compared to my student days, I still have plenty of time for my hobbies.
One of those is webdesign, which is once again a hobby since I no longer have my company. However, I also like to get away from my computer by going for a run or reading a book, so feel free to send me your reading recommendations!
